just returned from orientation night, and am here to blog! haha ok shall get on with the actual stuff... its going to be a long story so stay awake :)
ok so today we had ct session from 2:30 to 3:40, and Mdm Madihah kindly let us off at 3:40 pm, so we went arnd doing stuff. yup it was rather boring, so kk and me decided to go and find liuxiao and chengrong. they were eating, but after we got there, they were finishing and left for greenclub exco meeting (i think) while kk was getting food to eat... (that was ~4pm). ok so after he finished his nasilemak, we went to look arnd for the juniors. we found them in LT2 when we entered by the back door. clara, yanling and ikuyo were also there (and sitting in the last row) yes and so we watched the J1s coming up and present their items.
ok i guess i will describe what our junior class's banner/flag looks like for the benefit of those ppl who dint see it... its a BIG painting of the "Bully the bull-boy" or what you call it... and you dont have much other stuff, except that the face is replaced with a "VIIBE" and the thumbs-up hand is replaced by sth that is supposed to be "cool". yup so thats our jnr cls's banner. and then it was the items. the first class was some spongebob+apollo+kingkong story, in the LT. but then lots of ppl needed more space, so we went down to the amphitheatre area (at the curved steps), so we watched them perform, and it was nice! haha refer to kk's post for a description of what its about... yes and the juniors ordered pizza, so after their item they went back to the cls bench and ate pizza i think.
so me, yanling, ikuyo, clara and ziying set off to coro to buy dinner (chengrong had already eaten, and liuxiao was eating infront of us). but halfway (actually infront of the canteen) clara and ziying decided that they were not hungry, and left us 3 to trek the long and tiring journey to coro. yep we saw lots of ppl in white shirts around the place, on the pavement, on the road, outside coro, inside coro, outside "cute chicken" (sorry i forgot the name for it), and inside "cute chicken". haha. we placed our order, and then also ordered for ziyang, sam (of course :P got ziyang) and serena. so we waited arnd for like 20mins till 650pm, and in this gift shop just next door the shopowner showed us this cup that changed colour when there's hot water in it. and also we met daryl and guanlin from 04S7B, who were also buying food.
yup so we went back to school, and met mong, yunwei and minhao along the way. they had just finished eating dinner. then the 3 of us went back to school to eat. the central plaza was already very crowded! so we ate while other facs presented their flag and item. then it was apollo! haha we won one of either flag or item, cant rmb which was it. haha then we had this stage game, where 3 contestants from each fac came up to play a game, and all 3 contestants from apollo were from 7B! matthias, yuanshan and someone whom i couldnt see. yep 7B rocks :) mr ang was also called up and they changed the rules to accomodate him. haha. ok then next was the lightup, where the 4 fac heads "appeared" at the wings, and then spotlight search for them etc, then they all appear at the bridge. seems like just yesterday when we saw weiwen as fac head running all over the place last yr orientation. yup then next the O1 chairperson (forgot her name) went to light up the thingy. it was nice :)
then after this was song session. we formed a big big "circle" with the juniors and sang songs :) obviously :P ok then next was the dance session. the whole place was so cramped lor... paul very good, got so much space to himself on the stage, while we dint really have space to move or wave our hands etc and then also got this box of rice all over the floor. so dirty. yep and many ppl looked like they not very clear about mass dances, but i guess no one is as shen as paul at dancing mass dances right? haha. ok so we had this cheer session after this. with 3 cheers. wahaha. the shortest one ever i think? lol. ok then after that we were dismissed.
