may day is almost over. a few mins more and it'll be tomorrow. back to reality again after a long weekend.

well strings concert ended a few hrs ago. first time at a strings emsemble performance. a totally different exp i must say, with the bulk of the music played by string instruments. well apparently there was quite a meagre turnout from our cls. me, cr, mong, liu xiao and david. frm the jr cls there was matthias, valerie, carolyn, see wah and peter.

as for the performance, personally i thought the first half of the performance (b4 the intermission) was quite boring and sleep inducing (sry abel but tts what i thought) after the intermission it was much more interesting with much louder and dramatic pieces being played. the guest soloist was quite pro too. haha at the end the conductor kept instructed his ensemble to bow 4 times in total due to the continuous applause. i hope abel and joseph's backs didnt break after all tt bowing. =)

yupz after the performance we left for supper at raffles city shopping centre. along the way we walked past the padang, taking our time to walk until we realised tt matthias and valerie were way ahead of us. heehee. then we were saying like they looked like parents leading us children. haha *roll eyes* anyway then mong and david started calling out "mummy! daddy! papa!" but apparently they couldn't hear us. hmmm in their own world perhaps.. haha =) took them a while b4 they realised tt they were so far ahead of us. hmmm we had mos burger for supper. some went for ice cream next door. after tt we left went our own ways.
