hi guys! long time nv see most of u all le. hope u all are doing fine ya? shall nt spoil this post with all my complaints abt my new unit, but shall go straight to more relevant matters, as requested by david. hahaha.
well david, mong, mh and me met at city hall mrt to go for dinner. haha they actually wanted to go ritz for buffet dinner! which at first thought stunned me. cos i only came prepared with only $40. then they wanted to eat something $65. lol. well apparently they wanted to go see LX at work there. yupz. but i was fine with it la, as long as they were prepared to sponsor me to some extent. but for a reason i forgot we ended up going esplanade for some jap restaurant. then changed course back to marina sq. ended up deciding to have dinner at billy bombers then go over to ritz for drinks, and hope against hope tt LX will show his face. we had set meals and talked abt everything tt came to mind. ah the dessert was delicious! 1 scoop of ben and jerry's ice cream. the funny thing abt it was tt it was so cold tt it was rock solid when we tried to scrap out the ice cream with our spoons! even the glass cup containing the ice cream looked frozen. LOL =)
yupz then we walked out to ritz after deciding tt watching a movie was out of qn. had drinks in the lobby bar (is it called tt? haha). forgot the name of the place. some chinoly or something like tt. couldnt really make out the name frm the menu cover. anyways, i had a artic moon, mh had a tropical dunno wad (hahahha sry), mong had ice lemon tea and david had touché. lol david's was the only alcoholic drink la, tho mildly alcoholic according to them. had a sip of it. tasted like cough syrup. =S ahhahaah sry david, if i reduced ur appetite for ur drink. =) i admit the presentation was quite nice. oh and mong's ice lemon tea had "ice lemon tea ice cubes"! haha meaning ice made of ice lemon tea, so tt it wont dilute the drink. interesting huh. my artic moon was nt bad, banana and lime juice with milk, and mh's tropical wadeva nt was quite nice too. david took pictures of the drinks, so if u wanna see u gotta bug him for it! haha we sat there talking for quite a long time. ahh and we ate loads of the complimentary nuts and some chilli-ed dried lotus crisps. we constantly asked for refills. LOL =D the waitress was real nice and patient with us, even offered to bring us a bowl of lotus crisps cos she figured out tt we loved it so much. tts ritz carlton service for u. LOL =) yupz we also went to the toilet near to buffet area in hope of catching a glimpse of LX. i think mong spotted him, but only his back image la, tho he said it must have been him becos of his specs. in the end we gave up at 9 pm and headed home la.
