Hellox Everyone! Blog Flash returns with a short account of a familiarisation briefing by A*STAR at the A*STAR Auditorium at Biopolis!
This is for people interested in the Student Attachment Programme at Local Research Institutes. There is 2 organisations that you can apply for, which are Temasek Lifesciences Laboratory and A*STAR. A*STAR is furthur subdivided into various Research Institutes which you can apply to be attached to. For today's briefing, the Bioinformatics Institute, Bioprocessing Technology Institute, Institute of Biotechnology and Nanotechnology as well as the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology participated. Well a general comment is that the research programmes they have are VERY interesting! Well those who wants to join this programme can always proceed to the General Office to pick up a application form! Hand in to the Science HOD or sth by May 6 i think. If you all want to know, next week wednesday there will be another familiarisation briefing for Science and Engineering Research Institutes under A*STAR at the same place and time. So for those VERY interested in science research and are not part of (or feel they have no hope of getting into prestigious research programmes like me Haha =) ) any Science Research programme, pick up a form NOW!
Well before I end, Im wondering why recently there are boards that are in the shape of cows nailed into slopes as if they are grazing on these slopes... Ive seen some on the way to school and some near HCI... Is there some project going on?
