Today's Cover story is the BBQ at Clara's House! Yay! Quite a success i think... thankx to ME!!!
Haha... Just joking lar... =) Well i got my WHITE t-shirt black and dusty after handling all that charcoal while starting the fire... Argghhh... Learnt my lesson today! Dun wear white to any BBQs! Haha... actually ive been to other bbqs before... but i waz not the one that starts the fire... so i could wear anything i want... But tis time its different... So yupz... learnt my lesson today... =) Haha... You all should thank me, Liu Xiao and Min Hao k? If not u all would not have had a fire in the first place! Haha... =) Jus joking... (How come i become so bu yao lian?)
Anyway, I'll cover everything that happened at the BBQ, for the benefit of those that didnt go!
Well, firstly i met zi yang, clara, yunwei and mong at orchard to find stuff for glitter tattoos for the CNY stall! But turned out fruitless... So zi yang and i went to bugis to meet up with pin yun, xinhui and ming hao to visit ZY's favourite haunt...... The MAGIC Shop! Haha =) Yeah! Now we know where he gets all his stuff... But Im not telling where it is... Jus that its near Bugis Junction... Wah... I really wonder how they operate at a profit... So specific a target group...
Next up we went to Bugis Junction to continue our search for the equipment for glitter tattoos... But time was not on our side... So we had to leave the job to Xin Hui who was not going for BBQ due to tuan yuan fun with her family... Luckily she managed to find it to the relief of Clara... Oh well we proceeded to CCK MRT to meet up with Liu Xiao, Jona and Clara and together we went to Clara's house at Hazel Park Terrace.
Wah... Her condo was a very nice place! Had 8 swimming pools! Yeowz! It was also at a good location... no hdb flats to block the wind and the view! There was a perpetual breeze as a result.
Oh well, then i proceeded to start the fire... Got myself dirty in the process... (whilst the others were slacking or checking out the facilities or getting the food ready... >_<) Yay! at least it was a success on the first try =) After that we met Lucas, Clara's Younger Bro! (Squeals of "so cute!" rang out after he appeared =) ) He started challenging people to badminton, me included. Hahaz... everybody who played all feinted weakness... Oops Haha... We all got thrashed by him lor... He's so pro leh... =)
Next we started to cook the food. The rest of the afternoon was uneventful till night fell... Then the fun starts! CR's mahjong spirit suddenly poured out and started getting ppl to play mahjong... =) (I dun play mahjong even after so many times observing ppl play it >_<) Bridge fever also broke out and people started playing bridge too (which i also dunno how to play -_-?) leaving the poor seniors and later Ms Keung to the BBQ... Aiyo... You all ar... who's bbq is it? Haha... =) Luckily CR and Sam later took over or else they'll cry foul... Hehehe...
EXCLUSIVE! EXCULSIVE! HF and Foony shares a Chicken Nugget by Mouth! Almost looked like kissing each other! Hahaha... =) My mortal is so fun! Yay! =)
Lucas also started to challenge people to play Pokemon cards (me included)! Haha... God... Its been a long time since i last played Pokemon cards... Jona and Brian also took part... Got thrashed... Or was i feinting weakness again? Oops haha...
Anywayz, David later got dumped into the swimming pool! Haha... =) Not once.... not twice.... But three times! Wah you all ar... So mean to him! Haiz... He became so wet lorz...
Actually some ppl stayed over... I wanted to but waz not allowed by my parents... Haiz... Hope those that stayed over had lots of FUN!
Well thats basically the geist of the whole BBQ! Special thanks to me, the firestarter, and me, the exclusive photojournalist! HAHAHA... (Im very bu yao lian today... =) ) Oh well, of course thanks for everybody who made this BBQ a successful and memorable one! Be it people who brought food or those who came to make it such a lively affair! *Clap clap clap*
