Yozzz Everybody! I see that sam talked about the trip to Queensway so shall not talk too much about it. Well I'll instead talk about the Water Polo Final at CCAB between Hwa Chong and Anglo-Chinese JC!

Well firstly the results...

1st Quarter (was not there so cant report score)
2nd Quarter 7-3 to ACJC
3rd Quarter 10-4 to ACJC
Final Score 12-7 to ACJC

Well as you can see, Hwa Chong was mauled in the First 3 Quarters of the match. Well the ACJC people scored most of their goals through beautiful crosses. They had this guy (or guys cant differentiate them... or integrate them... Haha =) ) is camping in front of goal that kept scoring the goals after receiving many passes from the flanks. The Hwa Chongian in charge of keeping him in check could not do much to prevent that guy from receiving the ball and thus leaving the goalkeeper open to close range shots that were difficult to prevent.

As for Team Hwa Chong, it was a case of hard luck for sometimes and lack of penetrative power for others. Quite a few shots on goal had beaten the keeper, but not the post or crossbar. Sometimes the shots whistled just over the crossbar. For other times, I felt that the players were not very well-drilled in crosses, with balls flying off course, leaving ACJC players an easy job at defending against our attacks.

That persisted till the 3rd Quarter. Actually at the end of the 3rd Quarter, the HC goalkeeper actually scored from his goal... But unfortunately time expired so not counted... But it was a different story at the 4th Quarter. Although the AC team managed to score 2, I felt that the overall performance of the HC improved, which culminated in them scoring 3 more goals in the 4th Quarter.

Finally I'll comment on the supporters, HC and AC supporters. For HC, it was very weird that whenever the referee blew a whistle to indicate that a foul was committed, the cheers died down... Perhaps the councillors should hold cheering sessions to train the student population...
As for the AC, there was this supporter, who obviously is a DOTA player, wearing this Skull face mask. He held up a placard as well as the ACJC flag. He ran along the side of the pool when the match was concluded. No Prizes for DOTA players to guess what was written on the placard...

M-M-M-MONSTER KILLLL!!!

Yupz after that Zi Ying and I returned to HCI and later together with Sam, Zi Yang and Pin Yun we went to Queensway in the middle of a downpour... It was fun anyway, looking at Pin Yun and Zi Ying take photos of Sam and Zi Yang using their handphones... Haha =)
