Yozzz Everyone... Jus wanna express some crap thoughts on some observations today...
Well today after school went to A*STAR Auditorium to attend part 2 of the familiarisation briefings for their Research Institutes. Zi Yang was sooo bored that he fell asleep half the time at the briefing! Haha... Well he was more interested in biosciences but today's briefings were all about the science and engineering institutes of A*STAR... ok thats not the main point of this blog entry. Well firstly the presenter from Institute of High Performance Computing was Serena Tan. Rings a bell? Well she studied mechanical engineering at university and is currently waiting to be called for PhD defense interview or something like that... So hmmm... Quite powerful this woman... Serena gotta jiayou k? Haha =)
Well on the way home on the mrt, i was looking at the LOEP programme paper... When i came across Sign Language, i was wondering how it looked like when 2 mute people communicated with each other. Interestingly, when i raised my head up from my paper, I saw that 2 mute people were communicating using Sign Language in front of me! Haha so coincidental... Well i observed them for a while and i realised that sign language is very complicated and requires you to be able to observe very quickly the hand actions to interpret someone's message... My eyes simply couldnt follow their hand gestures... Well for those signing up for Sign Language, Jiayou and keep your eyes peeled! Haha =)
