ahhh tts better. the toad translator finally works. oh tt wasnt a toad talking. tts jus me. ya noe, after cheering ur heart and throat out, u can become hoarse (or toad?). now my voice sounds like a toad or whatever u call it. real sexy. LOL =)

yupz jus came back frm touch dance night. shall give only general comments as i cant describe every single dance to you right? words can only say so much. haha im sure paul will be interested in my views.

ok lets get down to business. right. mainly the whole dance night was dominated by hip-hop and brake dance acts, with some samba dances, jap elements and ballet. kinda expected, given the bulk of the crowd are young ppl. there were some interesting dances, like the one involving chairs. musical chairs - redefined. =) interesting idea. then the japanese style hip hop dance was kinda refreshing too, with the use of jap fans as props. hui yan dropped her fan tho. whoops. =S she was in the centre and in at the front, so it was super obvious. as for the braking, i felt it was quite pro lar, tho i admit if compared to seasoned dancers, it'll be 小巫见大巫. sry suddenly use chinese, 华语 cool k? =)

haha anyway in terms of technique for the dancers, i felt they could have done more in synchronising their dance steps with each other, sometimes there was stray hands and legs still sticking out when the others have completed their moves. as for the performance as a whole, i felt totally mystified as to why the order of the performance was conducted in such a way. the general idea given to me at the start was that they will be going around the world to see all kinds of dance distinct to certain countries. or maybe elements of local dances placed in modern dances. aside from dances for taiwan (i noe its taiwan becos it was said so, if nt maybe i wont noe), brazil (announced as well), japan (c'mon who doesnt noe japanese fans?) and the US (recognisable frm the graffiti and the term "backstreet") i was totally lost as to which dance belonged to which country. maybe its conducted in such a way to confuse the public, so tt they will be forced to donate money to get the programme sheet. LOL =) EVIL if it is so.

hmmm as for paul's performance, which was the samba one (or is it salsa? dunno lar), i felt it was quite well done. can see the element of samba in it, as well as hear it (music is impt in dance k). actually cannt see tt paul's was injured in anyway on stage, so it was a commendable effort. he said tt it hurt like mad during the performance. take care k? dun over-exert urself. =)

yupz i think tts it frm me. =)
